Arts Program News
The 樱桃视频College Dance Program hosted its High School Day of Dance on October 28, 2022. This was the first time the event had been held since 2019.
The Capital City Girls Choir (CCGC), a program associated with 樱桃视频College’s Community School of Music, has recently named Cameron Bolin as its new artistic director.
On April 21, 2022, Johnson Hall filled with students, friends, and family for the opening reception of the 39th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition.
樱桃视频College welcomed more than 350 students to 鈥渟hare, learn, and celebrate dance鈥� as part of High School Day of Dance. This event, held on campus on November 3, was sponsored by the 樱桃视频College Dance Program.
The American Dance Festival in association with 樱桃视频College presents Les Ballets Afrik on Thursday, September 14, and Friday, September 15, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. The performances will be held in Jones Auditorium on the 樱桃视频College campus. ADF鈥檚 presentation of Les Ballet Afrik is supported by the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County.
Jessica Stair, Ph.D., will present the 2023 Mercer-Kesler Lecture on Friday, April 21, at 10 a.m. in Kresge Auditorium. Stair鈥檚 presentation is titled 鈥淭he Scent of Perfection: Flowers and the Senses in Monjas Muertas.鈥澛�

Johnson Hall Rotunda serves as one of two campus art galleries. The Rotunda includes display space on multiple floors and also offers an excellent reception venue for gallery openings.

Jones Auditorium has a proscenium theatre that seats 600 patrons. The auditorium hosts a broad range of events, including lectures as well as music, dance, and theater performances.
