The MBA program consists of 33 credit hours of coursework: eight core courses and three electives. For some students, additional foundation courses may be required, depending on transcript review.

  • For those wishing to sharpen their knowledge of fundamental business concepts such as quantitative analysis and statistics, economics, accounting, and finance. 
  • The program is part-time and takes place in the evening, consisting of four courses. This program can be completed in two semesters.
  • Completion of the program prepares students with the foundation of coursework needed for the MBA program.
  • To apply to the Business Foundations Certificate program, previous completion of an undergraduate degree is required. 
    • Applicants must submit the application for official transcripts from any colleges or universities attended and a current resume.

  • This 4+1 program allows ӣƵundergraduate students to earn a graduate degree in just one additional year, saving both time and money.
  • Open to any major at Meredith. 
  • Students should enroll by sophomore year to complete the program in five years.
  • After earning their undergraduate degree, students can complete the ӣƵMBA with two semesters and two summer sessions.

    • Matthew Evans, ’19, decided to pursue his MBA to advance his career. He saw a significant increase in his salary and was also positioned for a managerial role. He now works as a manager in financial planning and analysis at UNC REX Healthcare.
    • Sydney Spadaro, ’19, ’20 (MBA), was one of the first students to complete the accelerated MBA program.
